  • We often dine together on other weekends as well. These occasions are usually announced in the church in advance.

Small Group Bible Study and Children's Sabbath School:

10:15am - 11:35am

Adults:
  • We begin with a short devotional thought and mission spotlight and then enter into small group discussion mode.
  • We are usually small enough to move our chairs into a circle for an informal discussion on the theme for the day.
  • We use a quarterly Bible study guide and try to keep our conversation focussed around the topic or the theme covered in the guide.
  • Because it is informal, conversations often veer in different directions.
  • Those who attend can choose to what extent they want to participate in the discussion.
  • The quarterly Bible study guide can be accessed online or via a dedicated app for mobile devices. It is also possible to order a print copy at church.

Children:
  • We have dedicated volunteers who do Bible based activities and stories with the children.
  • Our children's department is small and informal and we adjust our activities based on the age of the children.
  • On most Sabbaths we use material and activities that we know locally as the Gracelink curriculum. You can access material here.
  • We welcome volunteers to help with the programme, but we do Access NI safety checks for all volunteers and always make the safety and protection of the children our highest priority.

Worship Service:

11:45 am to 1:00 pm

Our worship services follow a simple, generally subdued format.
The service usually includes:
  • Singing of hymns with organ or piano accompanyment,
  • Prayer,
  • A children story
  • A sermon of 20-25 minutes.

Our pastor looks after congregations in Derry/Londonderry and Sligo as well. On weeks when our pastor does not preach we have a variety of lay preachers or itenerant ministers.

We take up an offering every week, but there is not expectation for visitors to contribute and we encourage visitors to let the offering plate pass them by.

The contributions help to maintain the church and supports its programmes.
We are able to claim Gift-Aid on the donations that we receive, so we invite members to donate by placing money in an envelope with the necessary details to process this claim.
It is also possible however to put money directly into the plate.
